28A- Your Exit Strategy
I think my exit strategy is to sell
my plan once I get out of college and then use that to start myself off, pay
off any school I need to, and create a life for myself. I do not see this as something
that I want to do for the rest of my life. I have other aspirations but I think
that this would allow me to get a better head start to this other things that I
hope to accomplish. It is something that I can see growing really fast in the
next couple of years and if I could make money off of it now so that I can be
comfortable when I get out of college and have some experience owning and
coming up with a business it would set me up well. I think I looked at many of
the things as short term because I always knew that I was not going to be in
the business long. That doesn’t mean that I didn’t make any meaningful
connections, its just that I thought of it as more of a short time experience.
Hey John,
ReplyDeleteI think your idea of using your business to pay off college is extremely smart and mature. Many people might get addicted when it comes to running a business, especially a successful one, but it's important to have realistic goals that can benefit you both today and in the future. I also totally agree when you say you have other things you want to get done, I couldn't see myself sticking with my idea forever and it'd be nice to get a career in the field I've been studying for. Nice work.
